Indoor
harmonic filters.
Passive filters for drives in panels and electrical rooms, wired in series ahead of the drive. Catalog ratings are at 380–415 V, 50 Hz; 440–480 V, 60 Hz versions are available on request and confirmed per selection.

Selection
Match the filter
to the drive.
Pick the rating at or just above the drive's input current. A larger filter on a smaller drive still works, with less harmonic reduction, so ratings are matched as closely as possible.
Ratings and frames from the manufacturer catalog at 380–415 V, 50 Hz. 440–480 V, 60 Hz versions are available on request; a 60 Hz filter is tuned differently, so the frame is confirmed in each selection. X1a and X1b are the two small X1 housings.

IEEE 519 limits total demand distortion at the point of common coupling. The THDi above is at the filter input at full load; a system study relates the two.
No tuning on site
Wire it in and energize. No adjustment at start-up and no routine maintenance.
One filter, several drives
A single filter can serve more than one drive.
Capacitor disconnect
Optional terminals let a relay output on the drive switch the trap capacitors out.
Thermal contact
TA–TB opens on over-temperature and can stop the drive.
