Passive filters for six-pulse drives that lie flat and cool themselves with fans, so they fit low, warm spaces where an upright filter can’t go, including under the chiller they serve.

Mounting and cooling
Horizontal,
with forced air.
Most passive harmonic filters stand upright and shed their heat by natural convection, which takes height and cool surrounding air. These lie flat and move their own air with fans, so they go into low-clearance, warm locations: under a chiller, in a rooftop equipment yard, beside the equipment they serve.
Horizontal mounting
The cabinet lies flat on two base rails and is 744.5 mm [29.31 in] tall, low enough to go under a chiller.
Forced-air cooling
Fans under the top cover, switched by a 75 °C thermostat, carry the heat out. Cooling doesn’t depend on enclosure height or a chimney effect.
Warm locations
Rated for ambient from -25 to +45 °C [-13 to +113 °F], with a 160 °C over-temperature contact for the drive’s interlock.

Same cross-section for both ratings; lengths, cabinet body and anchor-slot centres are in the selection table. Cabinet body 720 mm wide. Two base rails 120 mm [4.72 in] high, four anchor slots 15 x 25 mm. Hinged service door on one long side. Specified with no floor or bottom penetrations; cable entry through the conduit box.

A box that replaces the louvered panel at the door-hinge end and bolts into the existing panel pocket. Enclosure rating and cooling with the box fitted are being confirmed with the manufacturer.
